I created AllBody Pilates for one purpose - to offer Pilates for all. No matter your age, shape, fitness level, injury or condition – the Pilates Method has you covered!
I studied under the tutelage of Anna Abubukar @ The Pilates Centre, Dublin back in 2019 where I was trained in the comprehensive classical repertoire and equipment. An immersive course within the setting of a fully working studio I got to observe, personally practice, train and practice teaching with fellow students and clients as well as attend compulsory lectures and tutorials. This is where I got to deepen my love for the Pilates Method itself, its history and its true meaning not only for myself but for others too.
My background was in Dance originally but was also brought up with and practiced Yoga. After training as a dancer I went on to explore different forms of fitness regimes and complementary medicines, Shiatsu being the main one whilst employed in the private sector. Then, postpartum after my second child and whilst living abroad I went to my first Pilates class. Well, as I said at the time, I wish I had found Pilates sooner!! Something sparked in me after that a forever friend and a sense of home within a Pilates practice.
I could not imagine a life without Pilates in it now. That’s why I am always seeking to further my knowledge through workshops and training and learning from internationally renowned teachers of the work like Sean Gallagher, Elaine Ewing, the Alpers sisters, Kathi Ross-Nash, Brooke Siler, Lolita San Miguel, Blossom Leilani Crawford to name a few. And that's what I want to share with everyone that comes to me for a session - the love and knowledge that I have learned and continue to learn of Pilates, with some fun thrown in too!
